Day 1: Nairobi-Masai Mara
Upon arrival at JKIA, our representative will meet you and provide a safari briefing. Depart for a journey south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley, then past Narok, climbing the western wall entering Hemingway's country, the "Serengeti plains." Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in this famous reserve. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
Day 2: Masai Mara
An early morning balloon safari is available as an option at USD 450 per person. The balloon launches at 0600hrs and takes one hour. On landing, you will be welcomed with a champagne bush breakfast. Experience a full day of game viewing, leaving the camp after breakfast with a picnic lunch. The Mara is legendary for its abundance of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, various gazelle species, zebra, cheetahs, leopards, and, less commonly, rhinos. Witness the annual wildebeest migration from July to September. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
Day 3: Isebania-Serengeti
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge/camp. Depart for Isebania border with a picnic lunch. After customs, change vehicles and proceed to Serengeti National Park. The park features endless plains rolling into the distance, known for the rich wildlife habitats in the Seronera area. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Start the day with breakfast at the camp/lodge. Depart with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive in this African wildlife park. Encounter lion, leopard, elephants, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest migration, eland, wild dog, gazelle, crocodiles, and various bird species. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 5: Serengeti-Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy an early breakfast and a morning game drive before departing for a lunch at the lodge/campsite. In the afternoon, head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stopover at Olduvai Gorge, renowned for significant archaeological discoveries. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater-Karatu
After breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro crater with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. Encounter an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 7: Lake Manyara-Tarangire
Start the day with breakfast at the lodge. Proceed to Lake Manyara with a picnic lunch and enjoy a full-day game drive. Encounter diverse wildlife, including tree-climbing lions, elephants, zebra, buffalo, giraffe, baboons, warthog, and flamingos. In the afternoon, transfer to Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 8: Tarangire-Arusha
Have breakfast at the lodge, then depart for an extended morning game drive. Explore the park's diverse habitats and wildlife, reputed to contain some of Africa's largest elephant herds. Enjoy lunch at the camp and later depart for Arusha. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: Tarangire-Arusha-Nairobi
After breakfast, drive to Namanga border, change vehicles, and proceed to Nairobi. Upon arrival, connect to your onward flight.
